Strange Comments From Sunderland Manager

Thursday, April 28th, 2016 · 20 Comments

Sam Allardyce, the Sunderland manager, thinks that it´s almost a forgone conclusion that Newcastle will win against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

No,  it´s not because we got 5 points out of the last three games and held both Manchester City at home and Liverpool away after we were two goals behind.

Newcastle Winger Explains Why Players Are Confident

Thursday, April 28th, 2016 · 9 Comments

Andros Townsend was our best signing in January and has turned out to be one of our best signings of the season and he´s immediately been able to produce for Newcastle and already has three goals and two assists in just eight appearances.

🙂

Andros is also very positive and says the whole team is confident at the moment and the lads can match any team at St. James Park where we still have to play Crystal Place on Saturday and Tottenham on the very last day of the season.

Cheick Tiote Thankful For The Chance

Thursday, April 28th, 2016 · 48 Comments

Cheick Tiote has made a great comeback into the first team at Newcastle, after Rafa Benitez has tried to use the experienced players he has available at Newcastle to try to avoid relegation.

In fact Rafa is using both Papiss Cisse and Cheick Tiote as starters at the moment – and that was after they had both been accused of being bad eggs in Newcastle´s dressing room – a charge that seems to have been completely unfounded.

Newcastle Star – This Is What Benitez Brings To Newcastle

Thursday, April 28th, 2016 · 159 Comments

Cheick Tiote was supposed to be off to the Chinese Premier League in January but the move didn’t come off.

Cheick stayed on at Newcastle and since Rafa Benitez came a short seven weeks ago tomorrow, he has rejuvenated the 53 times capped Ivory Coast International defensive midfielder.

Rafa has used Cheick’s massive experience to play just in front of the back four,  as a means of strengthening what has been a weak defense at Newcastle for far too long.

Worried Pardew Gives His Opinion On Benitez’ Newcastle Side

Thursday, April 28th, 2016 · 17 Comments

During his press conference today Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew thinks that Newcastle have improved under Rafa Benitez – although we haven’t yet got the points to show for that – with three draws and one win in the first seven games Benitez has managed.

But five of those points have come in the last three games against Swansea, Manchester City and Liverpool so a win and two draws in those games was an excellent return.
